Hi Folks! it's baby Friday! (Nah, it just Thursday), and the Da News is back on these streets! The wait has been interminable, and during our hiatus, we've witnessed a whole circus of shenanigans and entanglements that would put a soap opera to shame. It's been a whopping seven years since our last broadcast, but we're revving up the engines, getting our ducks in a row, and preparing to once again dominate the airwaves and the interwebs with our signature brand of hard-hitting and cutting-edge entertainment news. We've always been the legends of these streets, and we're here to remind you why!

Now, speaking of streets, it seems that the infamous Jada Pinkett Smith, our resident little toxic she-devil, is making the rounds on talk shows. Her mission? To peddle her new book, "Why I Love Tupac and Hate Will." Nah, lol, but come on, folks, let's not kid ourselves – hasn't she done enough to ruin that man's life? From the separation, the entanglement, the infamous slap heard 'round the world, and yes, we're going there – those peculiar offspring. It might just be time for a collective breather from all her tomfoolery.

hey folks it's the weekend!!!
yeah,yeah,we're late as usual,but hey at least we showed up right?!lol

speaking of showing up,the word on the the street is that black actors will not be showing up at the Oscars this year after being snub once again from the award show.it seems that "black Hollywood,"is a little butt hurt and are very vocal about it,which is kind of unusual since black celebrities become mutes when it comes time to speaking out about important issues like,i don't know (Tamir Rice,Freddy Gray,Walter Scott,Mike Brown,etc )police brutality,i guess getting acceptance from a historically bias Academy is more important ,but hey i think we should all show ours support anyway,because remember, while the good folks in Ferguson was out staring down tanks,machine guns and armored cars in the streets for injustice,black celebrities were showing their support by...well...a......dumping buckets of ice water on their heads.(wait,what?)

Speaking of dancing, a recent video of a (goofy-looking) teacher doing a jig with students went viral, melting the hearts on Black Twitter as well as other social media outlets. We bigged up and gushed all over him as he "whipped the nae nae" and distracted the kids whose distracting video distracted most of us from the things that we shouldn't be distracted from... Do I smell Teacher of the Year? Just saying...

hey guess what today is!? that's right it's the weekend!!!!!yayyy!!!!

well folks, welcome to the new year and all the joy and pain that awaits us all.

speaking of joy and pain,black nerds have been waiting for over a year for the latest installment of the star wars series especially when early trailers revealed a black character
 as possibly being the lead in the movie.with the phantom menace racist character debacle far behind them(see jar jar binks),black nerds came in droves to see Disney's take on their favorite sci fi series.well two hours later the reaction from most black nerds was,"I LOVE IT!","even though finn,(the main black character) was giving the name by another guy, like a pet negro,that's just creative writing,and bumbling,fumbling while getting shot down by the girl throughout the movie is cool to because he's still developing as a character for the next movie."--black nerds

so to all the black nerds out there,keeping hope alive,we salute you.(or not)

as you all know, we are knee deep into the holiday season,that means crazy schedules,big crowds,and crazed shoppers are the norm right about now but for some,a few months ago there were talks of a  boycott (justice or else)to bring about change to this country,although the idea was good,we think that white Jesus and black Santa will make the people forget all about their problems.(at least until January first.)so shop til you drop!

Hovering Holidays

well, hello there!remember me folks!???
it's been awhile since we posted a new episode of Da'News but rest assure that we are still dedicated to bringing you that same "good ole funny", that you guys have become accustom to over the years! we will be busting our butts to get DNN back to a some what regular schedule real soon,but speaking of busting butts,the Hover board craze has got people from across the country looking like dweebs,and busting their asses to do so.(yes!!!) while they fight to try and make this thing become the "cool kid accessory",the videos of people taken nose dives are priceless,and for that,we thank you.

speaking of coming out of the woodwork,several women have come forward to accuse Mr. Bill"night,night",Cosby of taking their jello gelatin with out their permission over 30 years ago.

we at DNN wanted to get to the bottom of this story so we contact Mr.Cosby and he granted us an exclusive interveiw,but later he changed his mind and ask us not to air the footage,we assured him that we are a news company with the highest of integrity,and that we wouldn't dare air any of that footage without his consent,so....... ah, yeah, that exclusive interview with bill cosby will be airing soon,only on DNN!!!!!(don't you miss it!)

as you may have notice,coons are becoming more and more prevalent on social media and televison these days,once was thought to be a nocturnal creator,they are now coming to the forefront in society.coons are very fascinating,but little is known about their life away from the spot light,so we at DNN have a new series called "Cooning with Ricky", join Ricky as he goes hunting for the biggest,brightest,buck dancing"iest" coons in North America,see what coons are up to,and what drives them to be.....well,coons.like Ricky always say,"who's better to track down coons,then a coon!"so set back relax and please enjoy,as it promises to be a wild and exciting ride!!!

in a recent poll ,pharrell's "happy",song has taken the number one spot over "it's raining men",by the Weather Girls, as being the gayest song ever,it also beat out Whitney Houston's,"i will always love you",for the most annoying song as well, but besides that,we would like to commend pharrell on the song that mesmerized a whole lot of people and has become the anthem for young black folks everywhere,not since bobby Mcferrin's," don't worry be happy," song in the 90's have we seen so many negroes singing and dancing away there problems,and for that we thank you.(or not.)

hey folks,guess what today is?!!!
uh yeah,it's Saturday!!!!!

that's right we are smack dap in the middle of the weekend,and i hope you guys are have yourselves a good one.speaking of people who are having a good weekend,it seems that Ohio sports fans are having mutable orgasms at the rate of one every few seconds as they
realize that Mr.basketball himself," king", lebron james will be bringing his talents back to Cleveland next year.
news spread throughout the world as if it was the second coming of the son of man,and both Cleveland and Miami fans were seen crying in the streets and on social media ,aka Facebook(for different reasons of course.)with all of the hoopla over a guy who throws a ball through a hoop,one could almost forget about the NBA's nasty little situation  with owner Donald"no niggs" sterling  this past season.(i said almost.)at last check he still owns the Clippers and is probably on a yaht somewhere off the coast of France right now with his "bestie",Mark"we are all bigots" Cuban,sipping on champagne served to them by a shirtless Steven "ya'll niggs aint $#!h",A Smith, talking about this up coming season--(i digress.)

it's friday/4th of july/weekend!!!!!!
that's right folks we are back on the air,yeah,we know,it's been along time coming,and we're sorry for the delays,but now we're back baby,and it's time to "turn up" as the young kid say.lol
so what better way to start things off with a bang, then on a 4th of july, plus the weekend huh?!!
today was filled with hot dogs apple pies and drunken Americans as we celebrate our  wonderful freedom,so as we gaze,and marvel at the fireworks that light up the evening sky ,let's take a few moments to remember those people, who on that faithful day back in 1776,still in chains,and who probably said to themselves,damn all of this independence talk,when y'all crackas gone let us go!! (i'm just saying...)

looking for answers

hey there folks,it's,it's,another miss Friday!!!yay!!!!

yeah,yeah,we know,there's a pattern starting to form around here,but for what it's worth we are working hard behind the scene to get back to some sort of schedule.

anyways,the world watched silently as the state of Florida once again fell flat on it's face during the Micheal Dunn trial a few weeks back, bringing the prosecution  record for these "harass and kill a black kid  cases to 0 and never,and as bad as it sounds, i think we all are beginning to expect nothing less from the "sunshine" state,that's not so sunny if your a black kid.

so now, what happens next?Micheal Dunn get's probation somewhere down the line,takes a tour of the gun factory that made the gun he used to murder with,and becomes a celebrity,who wants to box a simple negro for "charity"?well if so i hope it's with juror#8 who was mind tricked not to see color from  a bigot who wrote letters showing that all he see is color,so maybe he could beat some since into her hollow noggin for the next "harass and kill a black kid"case that they'll  have down there,or better yet,let's all join hands,bow our heads and pray that a giant sink hole put all of them out of there misery,now that sounds like a plan.

well hello there folks!

welcome to the super late edition of DA'NEWS!!!(yay!)

 yes we're smack dab in the middle of the weekend,and with about 24hrs to go until monday,it's time to soak up every last drop,so let's begin, shall we!?

well the buzz around here is the coming out of the closet or should we say, the leaping out of the closet and doing a pirouette  by Micheal Sam i am.(gay)hee!but seriously, he will soon be the first openly gay NFL player next year after the draft,so we here at DNN have to wonder,if he is playing on your favorite team and is key to their success next year would you have a problem buying and wearing his jersey?  and will football finally over take figure skating as the gayest sport on tv?hmmmmm.

anyways we wish Mr.Sam the best of luck pursing his career in a league which is known  for it's  racist players and mascots and bone headed jock behavior,we have no dought that they will embrace him with open arms.(a lil sarcasm there.)
